The week before the surgery, on Christmas day, we got a guest, Chris from Germany coming to see us on his way to meet her fiance in Russia. It was a long story on how we met but it was the fourth time we seen him (3 times in Malaysia) and he had been in Malaysia about 7 times already, mainly to use the AirAsia service :P
On Christmas day, we was waiting for him to come after a Christmas in Singapore. Then, the next day, we spend shopping for some souvenirs for his fiancee at Jalan Masjid India. He bought kain batik, scarves, dress and kebaya (he must be in love :P) While I got 1 clothes for baju kurung.

Unfortunately, it rains like crazy. We only manage to take cover in one of the stalls. Feels like it's about to fall down. The stalls in front of me, the drain pipe falls down.

We went back during the night and was exhausted. I was supposed to meet up with friends but was too exhausted. Luckily, we didn't go because our other friend, my hubby colleague Regina from Houston, US had arrived from Singapore. Both were staying at our house. We last saw her about 3 years ago. So, we pick her up and had a dinner at Old Town Coffee House and heads back home.
The next day, we drops Chris off to LCCT for his flight to Russia. Then, we off to Sepang Goldcoast where I was supposed to meet my friends the night before. For information Sepang Goldcoast is a newly developed tourism place in Bagan Lalang, Selangor. It's about another 30km to Port Dickson. I guess, it is now the closest beach to KL area. The development of the beach was done such as way to rank it as the third palm houses/hotels in the world!

Anybody up to invest are truly welcome :D

Part of the beach is for public. While the hotel and houses part are going to be private. For now, they let you to their cafe and sales office. If want to see the houses, you must get written agreement from the sales office.

Besides seeing the palms, the sea foods are delicious and cheap (according to my friend). We don't get to eat because we come in afternoon and unfortunately the shops was not opened yet. Except from eating, you can swim here and many shops are selling swimsuit and floating device. The beach is very shallow and people are swimming very far to get to deep end. Be sure to go to the end of the road for the wet market. Bagan Lalang actually is a fisherman's village and this market have very cheap seafood. I bought 800gm mackerel (tenggiri) for RM12/14 and a big white pomfret (bawal) for RM12/14. I should have buy the red fish also.
