Been proud of seeing our supermarket stepping up in the plastic consumption. I've been to europe and seen the effort they did to improve the environment. We took the badness from them (piercings, tattoos, punk hair), why not take some of the goodness. Some acts we can follow, change our garbage bins to recycle bins in all places. Start with the airport (why? give good example to tourist hehehehe hipocrite in good way). Then, all our shops can step up a notch to offer plastics but you have to pay 10 cents each which leads to more people to bring their own bags. Ikea had taken the lead here.
Offer people discounts when using own cup and plates or food cointainer. Use no water for toilets. Scratch that hahaha.
There is one question been asked to me by my former european collegue. He asked, "what is the water use for in the toilets?". Which I said, "to clean after yourself". And then, he asked, "Isn't it wasteful to use water and then, paper to clean after yourself?". Which left me in the baffled of how to answer this questions on Malays culture. Never yet met an European that's not concerned at least a little bit of environment. Ehem, moral of the story is, keep it air dry, people! :)))
After that funny story (I hope it tickles you funny bones), let's pledge to try our bit to help our planet and passed this list to others (the list not the story pls).
