Germany -> Bratislava, Slovakia -> Budapest, Hungary -> Vienna, Austria -> Zagreb, Croatia
See Budapest, Hungary
See Vienna Day 1
The next day are just unlucky day plus poor planning on our part. We spend the morning at the Opera House because I want to go for the Opera House tour. See the seats, the stage, backstage so on. So, we wait at the cafe across the road and have pastry and coffee as usual. That's why people are thin here compared to nasi lemak and roti canai.
At the right time, we went to the entrance and actually, the tour are not available that day. But we are not the only one that mistaken. Previously, lots of people are waiting there also.
Then, since we covered quite a lot yesterday, we look for what we haven't seen yet. So off to see the Seccession Building which not worth much and can be visited yesterday because it's so close to other building that we went. Interesting facts here, the building was not liked when it first opened and been called "temple of bullfrogs". Now, when I think about it, it does look like a bull frog.
That evening, we took a bus ride to Zagreb, Croatia. I can see the magnificent Alps on the way. The journey took about 3 hours and we arrived at night at Zagreb. Unfortunately, we haven't booked any accommodation and prepared to find the hostel that we look-up from the Internet. Unfortunately also, since we arrived quite late, the shops are all close therefore, can't buy maps or get direction.
We arrived at Slisko Hotel near the bus station. The guy at the reception is so nice and he called for us to the hostel we want to stay. However, it's fully booked. As we are already tired, we decided to spend a night there. We paid about 80 euro, I think (my hubby and I a bit more since 2 person; not fair though because it's a single bed). Off to bed, everybody.
