Travel To Bratislava, Slovakia

Germany -> Bratislava, Slovakia -> Budapest, Hungary

We woke up to a very cold and rainy morning. After check-out, we took the trolleybus to the city center and main bus station for the evening bus to Budapest. There's no kebab and we breakfast to a couple of bread and coffee.

We haven't done any researched on Bratislava at all but luckily found the old town by walking straight from the bus station (with the help of sign board also). It is just about 15 minutes walked. After we store our luggage (untypically backpackers but I can't wear it anymore. It keeps getting heavier day after day although with the same amount of clothing :P) and change our Slovak money, SKK, we walked to old town.

The old town is beautiful and suddenly I feel much better when compared to the hotels and bus station area that we had been through. We managed to find a tourist information centre and secure a map.

That evening, we started for Budapest, Hungary by bus. We bought the tickets from the main bus station. There's a lot of bus going every hour. I forgot the price but I think it is no more than 20 euros per person. The journey took about 3 hours. When we arrived, there's another money changing. By this time, we already getting confuse because the money keeps getting bigger number.

Fortunately, we had the chance to warn our next host in Budapest of our arrival. We arrived when it almost dark and they had just came back from work. Agnes was a tourist guide and her boyfriend, Matyi, was a photographer. Although, their house is very small but they are very nice and we talked a lot on travel and Budapest. As she was a tourist guide, she gave us a map and recommend places for us to visit.
