Yesterday, I finally got the chance to berbuka puasa with one of my best friend, Farah and her bf, Adam at Kunang-Kunang Restaurant in Gombak. We had been busy for a few months and now she can she my big stomach :P

My hubby and I never saw this restaurant although we drive beside MRR2 lots of time and stops at the Petronas station lots of time too. The restaurant have lovely environment with man-made waterfalls, plants and trees. Sorry, no picture here. It's quite big and you can see the effort it takes to make the restaurant.
We take the buffet ramadhan menu which consists of 5 meal courses; Malay, Indian, Chinese and Western including Grill for RM47 per person which is more than enough portion for you to eat. The food taste very nice especially the daging salai, beef satay, seabass with tomato, grill brinjal and ABC. The chicken satay was not so good and grill mushroom was salty. However, it's very satisfactory. Although they don't have crabs or prawns, they substitute it with lots of lambs and seabass.
Pic: My food plate :P. Rice with daging salai, beef curry, grill vegetables, fish, fried kobis, kerabu mangga etc.

Pic: Chicken Soto.

While you were eating, they played live traditional songs. Although, it uses modern instrument (electronic gendang and keyboard) but it was good.
I wish to stay longer if not for unfortunate events :P.
